So I can count on you to mail me food packages when I through-hike it in a couple years?

Shippensburg. It's on I-81, between the Maryland border and Harrisburg.

Of course. I'd even like to hike a leg of it with you, if possible.

Nice! I'm actually headed down I-81 Wednesday morning on my way to Watkins Glen NY. I go that route a few times a year, so once you get settled we will have to meet-up!

Damn Yale!

The wife and I made a trip up there in 1995. Her family came over from Europe in the late 1700's and built a family home outside of Intercourse, PA. The home was built in 1806 and was still standing and occupied in 1995. It was beautiful.

There was also a 80'x100' barn built with hand hewn logs. It was incredible what they could build with hand tools back then.

Do yourself a favor and find a place with A/C. Most homes up there do not have it because the weather is so mild, but occasionally you'll wish you had it.

Hey Man you are only about 2 hours from DC so let me know if you make it down this way. They don't have any good BBQ like the Hard 8 we had when those 2 bikes went down but I know a few sea food places.

Oh yeah you need to roll north up to State College as well.
